Deidre Fisher's Photography

My photography includes nature, primarily landscapes, as well as scenes involving color and pattern that intrigue me. I have been drawn to the beauty -- my own human sense of beauty -- in natural settings close to home and on Cape Cod. I enjoy visiting these places and cannot resist the urge to photograph them. While, in some ways, a photograph is a scientific record or document, my intention is to create an abstraction -- a metaphor for beauty as I see it, and, perhaps, as you see it.

Back in the saddle.....got to take some sunrise-ish photos today. I love the marsh at Fort Hill (Eastham, Cape Cod , MA). Used a tripod and felt good about my focus --although the painterly quality of these makes it seem like the focus is soft....?
